Endings, Beginnings, Apprehensions
The end of the year has snuck up on me.
I am constantly reminded of all of the things I'm going to miss next year: my friends, my church, my position as a trip leader with Outdoor Adventures...but all of these things, thankfully, will be waiting for me when I return to Bloomington in the fall of 2006.
Still, it's hard not to be a bit apprehensive at this point. The benefits of going to Ghana for nine months are abstract at this point, and the losses are very concrete.
Yet, the end of this school year also means the beginning of really preparing to leave, which holds a lot of excitement for me.
God has blessed me with the desire to go to Ghana, and I am confident that He will show me more than I can imagine while I'm over there.
